Do I need to have all my content ready before my Design Day?

Yes – having your content (text, images, video, pdf downloads etc.) ready ahead of time is key to a smooth and productive Design Day. I’ll guide you through the prep process with a content writing guide and a checklist so nothing gets missed.

What platform will my website be built on?

All 1 Day Website builds are done with WordPress. I use WordPress because it offers the most flexibility, control, and scalability for growing businesses.

WordPress is SEO-friendly, easy to update once it’s set up properly, and gives you complete ownership of your site – no monthly platform restrictions or limitations. With the right tools and setup (which I handle for you), it’s just as user-friendly as other platforms, but way more powerful in the long run.

Can I request changes after my Design Day?

Yes! You’ll get two weeks of post-launch functionality support for any small fixes or questions. For larger updates or new features, I offer hourly support or ongoing support plans.

What if I don’t have branding or photos yet?

Some basic branding needs to be ready before your Design Day – at a minimum, you’ll need a logo. But if you don’t have that yet, no worries! We offer branding options, including a Mini Brand Kit add-on that includes colors, fonts, and a simple logo to give your site a clean, cohesive look. We can also help source high-quality stock photos to make sure your site feels polished and professional.

How do we communicate during Design Day?

We’ll use Voxer, a free voice/text messaging app, to stay connected in real-time. It keeps things fast, collaborative, and stress-free – without you needing to sit at your computer all day.

Can I reschedule my Design Day?

You can either reschedule (based on availability), Because this is a digital service, all sales are final and refunds aren’t available.

How much can we really get done in one day?

A lot! You’ll walk away with a fully functional 6 page website. Because everything is prepped in advance, we’re able to move quickly and efficiently. I focus on what matters most: clean design, thoughtful strategy, and a polished final product.
